Organisational Transitions Expose
Leadership Gaps. We Close Them.
Structured, evidence-based development for senior leaders navigating organisational change, complexity, and the pressure of high-impact decision-making.
Get in touchYour organisation is changing. Are your leaders equipped for what the transition demands?
A merger or separation, a restructuring, an AI investment. Each brings demands that go beyond delivering a plan. Leaders must help people navigate change, make difficult decisions and establish a credible way forward. That puts leadership capability, judgement and the ability to bring people with them under immediate pressure.
- Mergers & Acquisitions: One organisation. Different ways of working. The deal may be agreed, but bringing people together takes more than an integration plan. Leaders need to build trust across legacy teams, navigate cultural differences and create a shared direction.
- Organisational Transitions: Changed roles. Greater expectations. Restructuring, succession and scaling change what is expected of leaders. Broader responsibilities call for more than familiar approaches: leaders need to clarify accountability, adapt how they lead and bring people with them.
- Complexity & Uncertainty: Decisions cannot wait for perfect conditions. Volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity are no longer exceptional conditions. Priorities compete, information is incomplete, and decisions still need to be made. Leaders need the judgement to navigate trade-offs and give their teams direction without having every answer.
- AI Adoption: Investment does not equal adoption. Introducing AI tools is only part of the work. Leaders need to recognise where AI adds value, address people's concerns and create a culture of informed adoption rather than simply encouraging more use.
These changes put leadership capability and judgement to the test. The time to develop them is before the gaps become obstacles to progress.
Structured development. Lasting change in how leaders lead.
EvolunIQ is the leadership development practice for established organisations. We work with senior leaders, leadership teams and the HR and people development functions that support them.
We design and deliver structured programmes that build capability, sharpen judgement, and strengthen leadership identity. Our approach combines validated assessment instruments, team off-sites, structured coaching.
Our philosophy is clear: meaningful leadership development begins with self-awareness and is demonstrated through sustainable behavioural change.
EvolunIQ is the leadership development pillar of the KC Malik Consulting & Development ecosystem.
-
01Impact over appearancesWe focus on what changes in practice: how leaders make decisions, take responsibility and work with people. Substance matters more than impression.
-
02Courage to go deeperWe address root causes—even when uncomfortable. Real development requires the willingness to question familiar assumptions and patterns.
-
03Simplicity in complexityWe make complex leadership challenges easier to understand and work through—with clear structure and methodological rigour.
Three connected dimensions of effective leadership.
Our approach connects capability, judgement and leadership identity—how leaders act, how they decide and how they understand their role.
-
01Capability
Strengthening effective leadership behaviour through structured assessment and targeted development, aligned with the demands of the role and the organisation.
-
02Judgement
Developing the capacity to make sound decisions under ambiguity, complexity and organisational pressure.
-
03Leadership Identity
Helping leaders clarify what they stand for, how they exercise authority and the contribution they want to make as their responsibilities grow.
Build leadership capability before the pressure builds.
Senior leaders need to give people direction and make difficult decisions before the situation is fully clear. EvolunIQ designs and delivers structured, evidence-based programmes that strengthen leadership behaviour and judgement, grounded in the demands of the role and the consequences leaders' decisions have for others.
Experience helps. It does not resolve every leadership problem.
New responsibilities, sustained pressure and organisational uncertainty can expose the limits of familiar leadership patterns. EvolunIQ's executive coaching gives senior leaders a structured, confidential space to examine how they think, decide and lead and adapt their approach as the demands of their role change.
The conversation in the room is rarely the whole conversation.
Leadership teams often know what needs to be discussed. The challenge is to raise difficult issues openly, test assumptions constructively and turn discussion into action. EvolunIQ designs and facilitates bespoke workshops, team coaching and embedded expert sessions that help teams work through these issues and agree practical next steps.
Shared structures do not automatically create shared ways of working.
The financial logic may bring organisations together. It does not determine how well their people will work together. EvolunIQ supports the cultural dimension of M&A integration: understanding existing cultures, identifying where they reinforce or conflict with one another, and defining a shared direction. We help leaders translate that direction into everyday behaviour.
Development needs evidence. Not just opinion.
EvolunIQ uses established assessment frameworks, including Leadership Circle® tools for 360° leadership assessment and team assessment, and the GC Index® to understand how people create impact in teams. Used well, the findings sharpen development priorities and, with appropriate follow-up, provide a basis for reviewing change over time.

When two cultures meet, integration should already be underway.
The financial logic may bring two organisations together. It does not determine how successfully their people will work together afterwards. EvolunIQ helps organisations navigate the cultural dimension of M&A integration: understanding the existing cultures, identifying areas of alignment and friction, defining the desired future state and helping leadership teams translate that into everyday behaviour.
-
1Culture Baseline MappingA structured diagnostic of both organisational cultures — including values, behaviours, decision-making patterns and leadership dynamics. Using structured stakeholder interviews, this phase produces a clear picture of where each culture stands and where areas of alignment and potential friction are likely to emerge.
-
2Desired Culture & Leadership BlueprintDefining the behaviours, norms, decision patterns and leadership practices required in the combined organisation. This phase translates cultural ambition into a practical blueprint for how the organisation should work and lead together.
-
3Implementation & CoachingYou lead the implementation. EvolunIQ supports the design and coaches your leadership team through the execution, providing structured challenge and guidance as complexity increases.
-
4Periodic ReviewsStructured checkpoints to assess progress, recalibrate where needed and determine what is embedding successfully and what still requires attention.
- Cultural baseline diagnostic — both organisations (structured interviews)
- Alignment and friction analysis
- Desired Culture & Leadership Blueprint
- Leadership coaching through implementation (individual and team level)
- Periodic review sessions with evidence-based progress assessment
- Written outputs at each phase
Why EvolunIQ?
Our Leadership & Personal Development Expert
KC Malik brings more than 25 years of professional experience, including 15+ years guiding and leading M&A integrations and separations across 30+ M&A transactions and deal-related transformation programmes. He spent more than a decade with EY and Deloitte across the Middle East, Switzerland and Germany, serving as a Director in both firms.
His background combines complex transaction delivery with direct leadership responsibility. On a major carve-out, he held overall client-facing delivery responsibility for an international consulting team of approximately 125 people, working across corporate, government, and professional services settings on asset carve-outs, BU separations, post-merger integrations, and large-scale business reorganisations with significant commercial and stakeholder accountability. He has delivered project work on the ground in more than 25 countries.
What distinguishes his approach to leadership development is that it is informed by sustained delivery experience and coaching as a standalone practice — two disciplines that rarely exist in the same practitioner. He has facilitated flagship leadership programmes at Deloitte University, trained Managers, Senior Managers, and Directors within transaction and deals contexts, and worked directly with C-level executives navigating role transition and elevated responsibility.
He works with leaders at C-suite and senior leadership team level — across global blue-chip organisations and complex institutional environments in Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
Depth of specialism. Breadth of reach.
EvolunIQ is built around focused, individual engagement — but some mandates benefit from greater capacity or complementary specialism. For those situations, EvolunIQ draws on two sources of trusted capability.
TLC Lions — Strategic Partner
Karim is a named TLC Lion — part of a global network of human performance practitioners. Where a mandate calls for broader reach, additional facilitation capacity, or cross-geography delivery, TLC Lions can be activated to provide the infrastructure to make that possible without compromising the quality or consistency of the engagement.
Practitioner Network
Beyond the TLC Lions partnership, EvolunIQ draws on a curated network of independent coaches and facilitators — Co-Active and Leadership Circle® trained practitioners whose work Karim knows directly. This network is not a directory. It is a small group of trusted professionals brought in selectively, when the engagement genuinely calls for it.
